Mrs. Reeves' Fourth Grade Home Page
Reminder: The due date is Fri. Oct. 3 to place an order. Our genre will be Mystery books for October. Oct. 8 is a half day due to inservices for teachers. The end of this quarter will be Fri. Oct. 10. Conferences will be held the week of Oct. 14. A letter will be coming home shortly for time requests.
Here is a schedule of Book Reports for this year, genre and due dates:
October - due Nov.3 Mystery
November - due Dec.1 Fantasy
No report for Dec., just log
January - due Feb.2 Nonfiction
February - due Mar.2 General Fiction
Mar. - Apr.1 Historical Fiction
April - due May1 Biography
May - log only
We are encouraging our students to read for a minimum of 5 days a week (for a passing grade) and for at least 15-20 min. The reading logs should be initialed each time a student reads. Any books count for the reading log, not just the project book. The projects will be a seperate grade and are due the same day as the reading logs.
