Meet the teacher
Mrs. Renee Reeves - Fourth Grade
I have taught in grades first through fourth in the Deer Valley District since 1978. This year is my 30th year teaching! I graduated with honors from Grand Canyon University and have earned my master's degree from Nova University. I have served in the Deer Valley community as a Girl Scout Leader, a Sunday School teacher, a PTA officer, a CIT member, and many more. My daughters both attended and graduated from Deer Valley schools and both have completed their college degrees and are pursuing their careers and advanced degrees. This summer I became a grandma! My new grandson is named Austin, and he is a delight. I am expecting my second grandson around the first of November, so this year has been very exciting. I am a native of Arizona and have always lived around the Phoenix area. In our spare time, my husband and I are avid hikers, rock hounds, four-wheelers, and explorers. We both belong to the Saguaro Astronomy Club and own two large telescopes.
