In reading we are working on: * narrative elements of a story * summarizing a selection * oral reading with fluency * answering all questions with complete sentences In writing we are working on: * conventions - writing sentences correctly using a variety of types of sentences * using capital letters, end marks, proper grammar, and paragraphs in all our writing In math we are working on: * addition and subtraction with regrouping * problem solving, with extra information and missing information * rounding to estimate answers In social studies we are working on: * learning the three regions of Arizona * identifying natural resources found in our state In science we are working on: * map skills * creating various river flows to examine the effects of erosion
